Now that it's officially fall and school has started across the nation, I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for what you have done—and will continue to do—to bring learning, care, and compassion to youth and families.

Whether you are working in a fully open program, an online hybrid system, or a learning community serving virtual learners, please know that your enthusiasm, your smile, your very evident love for your job brings such happiness to the children and youth you are with every day.

Your confidence and care in all you do is bringing such comfort to parents who are filled with anxiety and stress. And finally, your positive attitude and amazing flexibility are encouraging and uplifting to your colleagues and partners.

I promise to you, history will write the story of all that our field has done during this challenging time to support children, families and communities.
