Training On Your Time

The National Out of School Time Professional Development Center (OSTPD) is the premier hub for afterschool professionals who want the freedom to pursue training on a schedule that works for them. As a web-based system, the OSTPD gives members access to the best online courses, including thirty-six OST Certificate Series Courses from afterschool expert Roberta L. Newman.

This will eventually grow to support continuing education units and credentials from the National AfterSchool Association and Child Care Aware. The OSTPD was developed through a partnership between NAA, Child Care Aware, and CypherWorx, Inc. 

As an afterschool professional, we know your time is precious. That's why the OSTPD gives you the flexibility to learn on a schedule you control. At home, at school, at the local coffee shop—the OSTPD is available anywhere and anytime you have a web-connected computer.  Access a large community of like-minded afterschool professionals in the national program or meet up with local learners in a private state-level network as you access hundreds of rich, interactive courses.
