Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® (#KidDay #AIKD) was founded by inclusive national youth development organization Camp Fire in 1997 as a holiday that encourages the young people in our lives. Camp Fire, with its 47 affiliates in 24 states, and corporate and philanthropic partners, invite you to send a note, email, letter, text, or videos (you choose) to encourage and inspire a young person you love. The medium doesn’t matter, but the message does: “You are incredible, and here’s why.” This is the most generous gift of all: your time, attention, and words. Take a few minutes to speak truth and hope into a young person’s life on March 16, 2023!
Participating in #KidDay is simple, meaningful and free, and it correlates with Camp Fire’s 113th birthday! In celebration, Camp Fire is partnering with Moosejaw to give one lucky young person in the U.S. (aged 5-18) $500 to experience the magic of the outdoors no matter where they are. Our friends at Campfire Coffee are also throwing in some swag and cocoa bombs for the winner!
