In a recent survey of the afterschool community, 98 percent of respondents listed NAA as a place to get valuable resources and information to improve STEM offerings and teaching practices.

The 2019 NAA Annual Convention—taking place in New York City, March 15 – 18, 2019—will feature more than 30 dedicated STEM workshops, a general session focused on STEM and leadership, a learning expo with exhibitors sharing STEM products and services, and more!

Previous Convention participants who attended STEM-related workshops indicated:

• Increased knowledge on how to access STEM resources and participants.
• Increased confidence in delivery of STEM experiences.
• Increased confidence in communicating with schools, families and communities about the importance of STEM learning in out-of-school time.
