The Out-of-School Time (OST) Leader’s Guide to Equitable Hiring and Staff Development Practices intends to catalyze the OST workforce, our stakeholders, and partners to examine systems, elevate practices and policies that will build and strengthen the field.
The guide includes three sections:
- Recruitment and Hiring;
- Onboarding and Professional Development;
- Performance Reviews and Feedback.
Each section includes best practices, guiding questions to support policy and practice changes, and no- to low-cost resources to support equitable hiring and staff development practices.
